Downtown is also home to the largest urban arts district in the country. Here, you have over 20 square blocks of museums and arts venues to explore any time you want.

Downtown is also Dallas’ central hub for public transportation so you can perfectly live a car-free lifestyle. The only downside is that finding a place here is going to cost you a lot higher than any other neighborhood. Average prices for a studio and a 1-bedroom go up to $1419 and $ 1878 respectively.

From fast-casual options like street tacos to more traditional diner-style menus, there’s everything for everyone. Oak Lawn also lets you live in Uptown without all the higher rental costs. A studio here can go to $ 1272.
